I never thought the camera phone would take off. I don't think many people did. But it has, and it's brought with it an obsession for capturing and sharing the moment.

What used to be the old promenading, peering through glasses at the opera house, now takes place on our Facebook pages, where we show off about how wonderful or woeful our lives are with varying degrees of inelegance.

Enter the Street Stylers… beings who are cashing in – however frugally – on our endless desire to be displayed, singled out, admired and immortalised. Yes, we're narcissists. Who knew?

But what of the people behind the camera. Professional voyeurs. Didn't the photographer used to be the frumpy guy/girl in jeans and T who had the vision? Not so this lot… There's a new style of Voguing in town. Street Style.

And FYI... if you haven't been papped by the Street-Chic yet, I'm here to tell you that you need to re-asses your wardrobe. Unless of course you don't give a toss.
